Starting with version 7, Adobe saw it fit to start offering other programs with the installation of Acrobat Reader. Things like the Yahoo toolbar are now part of the install. I personally don't agree with that so I am keeping version 6.0 on the CD. If you wish to use a newer version then please by all means install a newer version. You can find them at www.adobe.com. As for the second part of the question, yes. But that has nothing to do with the Acrobat version on the CD :)
Well, to give you the short version, when everything was all said and done, I probably spent about 150 hours on this. I'd say it was worth it!
I send out CD's once a week on Friday. From there it's really up to the Post Office. But most people tell me they see the CD in about 5-8 days. Keep in mind though that it could take up to 4 weeks.
It started off as just a little thing for me to have. I got real sick of lugging that heavy manual back and forth to the garage and of having to wash my hands to touch the thing! So, since I already have a computer in the garage for chip burning, I decided to put the manual on CDROM in pdf format so I could easily find what I want. From there it kind of grew on its own and I decided that I should share this with everyone.
